Choosing Castello di Rosciano near Torgiano in Tuscany was a dream come true for James and Kate. Italy held a special place in their hearts as their first holiday destination together. James, a self-professed castle nerd, was drawn to the historical and majestic beauty of the castle, which provided the perfect backdrop for their destination wedding.

The Celebration

The wedding was an elegant affair held in late May, taking advantage of the beautiful Italian spring. The stunning outdoor ceremony was lovingly decorated by the venue staff, overlooking the breathtaking Tuscan countryside. Guests were treated to a celebration full of fun, love, and laughter, exactly as James and Kate had envisioned.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with James and Merika since Jade and Stu's wedding, where James, the groom, began his photography journey under their mentorship. James's growth and dedication to his craft have been inspiring, and his professionalism and warmth make every collaboration a delight.

A Musical Extravaganza and Fine Dining

The festivities were further enhanced by the talented Sam Simmons, who serenaded the couple at the evening reception and throughout the wedding day. An Italian band added a touch of elegance with their jazz music during the guests' arrival for the ceremony and the drinks reception. James and Kate lavished their guests with fine dining and exquisite wine within the castle's walls, offering stunning views and pleasant, sunny weather.

We visited iconic landmarks, savored delicious Italian cuisine, and experienced the bustling Roman atmosphere, which enriched our personal journey and added a layer of depth to our creative process.
